We are pleased to announce that the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE) will host the 79^th ECCE General Meeting and the ECCE Executive Board Meeting in the vibrant city of Athens, Greece!

1. 5^th edition of The BIM Conference: "BIM Beyond 101"

• Date: 9^th October 2024
• Location: Eugenides Foundation, 387 Syggrou Avenue, 17564, P. Faliro
• Overview: This esteemed international conference, held under the auspices of ECCE, gathers influential participants from the construction industry. Expect insightful discussions and networking opportunities with executives, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and members from the academic and research community.

2. Special Event: "Engineers' Associations: History, Roles, Interventions, and Perspectives"

• Date: Afternoon of 10^th October 2024
• Location: TEE premises (Auditorium, 1^st floor), Nikis 4, Syntagma, Athens
• Overview: In the context of the celebration of its 100^th anniversary, the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE) is organising a scientific conference on the history of the engineers' organisations, their role in shaping the engineering profession, their relations with related institutions, such as the Polytechnics and other technical schools, and the scope of their interventions in the public debate. The aim of the conference is to include other European countries and, from the Greek side, to shed light on the path of the TEE, an important institution in the history of the country and largely unknown to the public. The moderator of the conference will be Aris Chatzidakis, ECCE Immediate Past President.

Registration for the 79th ECCE General Meeting (10-11 October) and the Technical visit (11 October) is free for all participants.

The cost of the gala dinner is 70€ per person.

Please note that payment for the gala dinner and the accompanying persons' tour must be made by bank transfer in advance of the meeting, as there will be no other payment option available. Please follow the payment instructions that are provided at the link below.

Accommodation proposals:

Due to the exceptionally high demand for accommodations in Athens during this period, hotels are not accepting pre-bookings. However, we have managed to secure a total of 9 rooms across three different hotels, available until 2^nd August. Additionally, we are providing you with details of other hotels in central Athens for individual reservations. You are also welcome to conduct your own search for accommodations.

Participation in this meeting is crucial, as the ECCE Executive Board Elections will be held on 11^th October 2024. Your presence and votes are vital for shaping the future direction of our organisation.
