Officially registered on 22nd December 1860, the CNISF (Conseil
National des Ingénieurs et Scientifiques de France) is organised as a
Federation, comprising 160 Alumni Associations of Schools of
Engineering, 30 Scientific, Technical and Professional Associations, a
network of 24 Regional Associations, and 13 Foreign Sections.
Altogether, CNISF comprises 160,000 members and represents
approximately 450,000 Engineers and Scientists.
The main goals of CNISF are:
CNISF maintains a Register of more than 500,000 engineers, “Ingénieurs Diplômés� and engineers who have risen from the ranks.

CNISF works with many
French partners (Academy of Technologies, commissions, institutes,
etc.) and cooperates with international organisations (mainly in
Europe, including ECCE, but also organisations in North America and in
Asia).
