• graduated Civil Engineer (B.Sc.C.E.) at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, Faculty for civil constructions (1975)

• Manager responsible for coordination and execution of construction works abroad in the Construction company Primorje d.d. in Slovenia (annual turnover 600 mio EUR) (since 2003)
• Director of a mixed (Slovenian and French Company) company Freyssinet Adria involved mainly in construction of bridges with postensioning (system Freyssinet) and stay cables.(since 2003)
  
• Project Manager of the Millenium Bridge in Podgorica, Montenegro. This is a cable stayed bridge with span of 145 m and the deck (width 25.0 m) launched with ILM – Incremental Launching method.(2003-2005)
  
• Project Manager responsible for construction of several big bridges in Slovenia, Croatia and Montenegro, some of them having span betwen 140-150 m (2001-2003)
  
• Member of the Executive Board for construction of two Hydropower plants (HE Plave II. HE Doblar II) in Slovenia including two headrace tunels excavated with TBM (Tunel Boring Machine), diameter 7.0 m, length 10 km (1996-2001)   
  
• Manager responsible for construction of different structures and buildings, bridges and Hydropower plants in Slovenia and abroad (1987-1996)
